Five details to check before your next tile order.
From playing format to packaging, a short checklist for a more considered wholesale inquiry.
A tile collection should work for the people who will actually play with it. Before you request a wholesale quote, take a moment to check five practical details.
1. Playing format and tile list
Mahjong collections are not interchangeable simply because the photographs look similar. Confirm the intended rules, the complete tile list and any extra or special tiles your audience needs.
2. Dimensions
Ask for the dimensions of an individual tile. If the tiles need to work with existing equipment, check the fit against the actual measurements rather than a general size description.
3. Material, artwork and finish
Compare the material, tile faces, back colour and edge details. Ask about a sample so you can assess the appearance in your own lighting and discuss any changes before ordering.
4. Quantity and packaging
Share your estimated quantity and how the collection will be presented or sold. Ask which packaging options apply to the chosen design and confirm what is included in the quote.
5. Destination and timing
Give the destination and your target date early. Confirm production arrangements, delivery options and the agreed timeline with your quotation; a timetable from another product or supplier may not apply.
